Evergreen content + how it’s set to change your life
Ever heard of evergreen content? If you haven’t, listen up. If you have, it’s time for you to create a bank of it, because it will save you time, effort, energy, and headspace. And, let’s face it, we could all do with a double helping of all of those.
So, what is evergreen content?
It’s the stuff that doesn’t date. Content that isn’t tied to a specific product or season or launch.

When to use evergreen content
The beauty of evergreen content is that it’s incredibly versatile, and can save the day when creating new content is bottom of the list. Like when you’re feeling tired, burnt out, or overwhelmed by life. It’s great for filling your weekly content plan between launches or seasons when you don’t have anything new to talk about, and equally good at helping you maintain a consistent posting schedule when you’re just too busy to post something new.
Create headspace
Evergreen content is also a great way to free up your headspace and energy for other things. Like focusing on your growing your business and creating your product. It’s also great for getting some headspace so that you can experiment with new content formats and ideas, like getting more comfortable with Instagram reels, or getting started on TikTok.
How to use evergreen content
Start building up a bank of evergreen content for each of your content themes and for the different phases of the customer journey. Remember to keep value for your audience front of mind. Obviously it’s got to be content that lasts. That can be used in any season. Start by adding a piece or two of evergreen content into your weekly content plan. You’ll soon start to notice how it takes away some of the pressure of continually creating new content.
Create content templates
Free up even more time and headspace by creating a different template in Canva for each type of evergreen content. This makes creating new evergreen content a simple copy and paste job. You can also keep recycling evergreen content by reposting it. Keep the caption and hashtags the same or update them as you like.
